Spanish & Shadowing is carefully designed to help future healthcare professionals succeed in America's demographic realities.
Through 6 or 9 weeks of language training, medical shadowing, and group activities, we prepare you to treat your future Spanish-speaking patients safely in their own language and with cultural empathy.
- AAMC-Compliant Shadowing in Latin America: Observe healthcare professionals and their patients in public hospitals and private clinics.
- "360 Degrees of Spanish": Study in a "Spanish everywhere" environment where you get to practice the language the very same day you learn it.
- Earn College Credit: Receive a transcript for the equivalent of up to three college semester courses. Use at your current school or save as a separate credential.
- Summer Group Trip: Limited to 25 per sessionEach summer session is limited to a maximum of 25 students, so we encourage you to apply early.
- Financial Support: Learn about ways to lower your tuition, including Shadow Abroad scholarship, student-friendly loands, and crowdfunding pages.
- Certificate of Medical Spanish: In addition to the college transcript, receive a separate certification of Spanish skills for healthcare professionals
